On October 23, 2007, David Foster, Director of the Silicon Valley Mathematics Initiative, gave a webcast presentation on Math Intervention in Grades 6 - 12. WestEd hosted the event, and this was the first in a series scheduled throughout the year for the statewide Algebra Forum group. In this webcast, David presented information about the state of California's algebra students, research from studies on effective instructional models, and successful intervention programs.
